Changelog
What changed in each release of Dybs.it, newest first. Versions follow semantic versioning: the patch digit is fixes only, the minor digit adds features, and a major bump would mean a breaking change to your projects or settings.
Every entry corresponds to a v* tag. Installers are published when the app goes
live, see Installation.
Entries below cover 1.9.0 onward. Earlier releases predate this changelog and are not reconstructed here.
1.17.0 (2026-07-28)
- Terminal: a way back to the live output. Scroll up to read something while an agent is still writing and a jump to bottom pill now appears. One click returns you to the tail. It sits in Dybs.it's own terminal chrome rather than any one agent's interface, so it works the same for every coding agent and for a plain shell. It stays out of the way for full-screen agent interfaces, which manage their own scrolling.
- Mac: Intel builds. Installers are now produced for both Intel (x64) and Apple Silicon (arm64) Macs. Previously a build only covered the architecture it was built on.
- The TEA report is a dock tab. The epic quality-gate report opens as a tab in the dock instead of taking over the screen in an overlay, so you can keep the report open next to what it is talking about.
- Fixed: closing a terminal tab from the menu or the command palette. The
action had stopped working, so
Cmd/Ctrl+Wand the palette's Close Tab did nothing. Both close the tab and end its session again. - Fixed: the confirm-before-closing-a-running-tab setting. It had no default value, so the guard could be off without you having turned it off. It now defaults to on.
- Naming: the rename to Dybs.it is now complete across the app and the documentation.
1.16.0 (2026-07-27)
BMAD Board is now Dybs.it. The app, the docs and the download all carry the
new name. Your existing projects need no migration, the _bmad/ and
_bmad-output/ folders Dybs.it reads are untouched by the rename.
- Licence: adopted a two-tier grant, so free users are now explicitly licensed rather than merely tolerated. All remaining "pro" references have been removed from the interface.
- Sidebar: the three separate left-hand rails are collapsed into one. Less chrome, and the navigation no longer competes with itself for horizontal space.
- Settings: design pass across the About and Diagnostics groups.
- Diagnostics: each probe is now individually time-bounded and the sweep is single-flight, so one hung check can no longer stall the whole panel or leave it spinning.
- Dock: fixed the floating pop-out panel not fitting its conversation content.
- Stories: restored the highlighting on
⚠-prefixed reader sections.
1.15.0 · 1.14.0 · 1.13.0 (2026-07-23)
Three quick releases on the same day, covering the command palette and a large styling pass.
- Command palette: the full BMad Method catalogue is now behind the global
Cmd/Ctrl+Kpalette, search any skill or command and launch it without leaving the keyboard. - Stories: new "Story Reader" skin for the story drawer, and
⚠️warning markers now render as a paper sticker rather than inline text. - Dockable panels: styling pass across the dock and the stories view.
- Terminal: fixed file drag-and-drop being swallowed by the global drop guard, so dragging a file into the terminal inserts its path again.
1.12.0 (2026-07-22)
- Dock: tabbed dock host, with Review Lens as its first tab consumer. Panels can now share one docked surface instead of each claiming their own.
- Getting Started and Git are gated behind build-time feature flags, both ship in the binary but stay off until released.
- Epics: removed the branch-receipt surface.
- History: Codex sessions are now scoped to the current project instead of leaking sessions from other projects into the list.
1.11.1 · 1.11.0 (2026-07-20)
- Worktrees: the automatic reclaim no longer deletes hand-made worktrees. Previously any worktree whose branch was not a recognised story slug (review trees, scratch trees, spikes) could be removed on project load. Dybs.it now only reclaims worktrees it created itself.
- Updated the bundled TEA (test architect) pack.
- Fixes across the epics and stories views.
1.10.0 (2026-07-14)
- Command palette: global
Cmd/Ctrl+Kpalette on the main screen. - Terminal:
sendShellCommandis now bound to the tab it opens, so a command can no longer land in the wrong terminal. - Removed the experimental Chat UI proof-of-concept from the shipping build.
1.9.0 (2026-07-13)
- Intake: rebuilt into a top bar, a phase-map rail and a single focused panel, replacing the previous multi-column layout.
- Dockable panels: corner-float mode on the dock host.
- Stories: added a Validate button to the Ready row of the playbook.
